“Gut Microbiota in Human Health and Diseases”

Definition

For 2019, the purpose of the Biocodex Microbiota Foundation 2019 Nordics grant is to support research initiatives involving the human gut microbiota in human health and diseases.

BMF supports both foundational and applied research. Please notice that donations to individual healthcare professionals are only permitted with limited conditions. Even if the winner is a researcher, the grant will be paid to its belonging research organization.

 

Price

The total grant amount is 25,000 euros (VAT and potential overhead included).

Deadline to submit your application is 13.01.2019 at 12 PM EET.

 

Candidates

Grant must be applied to research in a institution in Nordic-Baltic countries.

Post doc investigators are encouraged to apply.

Incomplete application forms will not be considered.

 

Jury

A national scientific board consisting of two gastroenterologists, a pediatrician and a nutritionist will review the applications and select the grant winner.

The scientific board’s decision is final, and may not be contested.

 

Attribution

The grant winner will be selected by February 28th, 2019, and the winner will be notified within the following two months.
