National call for projects

Presentation

The Foundation launches national call for projects in countries where Biocodex has a subsidiary presence (currently in France, US, Canada, Benelux, Finland, Sweden, Baltics, Mexico, Morocco, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine and Poland). In each country, an independent local scientific committee – made up of individuals recognized for their expertise in the microbiota field – gathers all proposals and selects, in each country, the winning project to be granted.

Only the national winners are then allowed to apply to the international Super Award, that provides with an additional amount of 20 000 €.

Depending on the quality and originality of the project, the International Scientific Committee will choose the winner of this Super Award.

Each subsidiary has its own applying rules and a specific grant. For further information on national calls for projects rules: see countries sections.

Super award

The Biocodex Microbiota Foundation issues grants in multiple countries for research into intestinal microbiota.

Recipients of the international grant are eligible for a Super Award, an additional grant of €20,000.

The Biocodex Microbiota Foundation's International Scientific Committee selects a Super Award winner from among grant recipients, based on the quality and originality of the project submitted.

To compete for the Super Award, candidates must submit an application stating precisely how the additional money will be used (see "Application" section).

Postponement of the Super Award
If there is an insufficient number of applications, the International Scientific Committee reserves the right to postpone the application deadline or even the contest itself.
